Chairman’s Welcome
I would like to personally welcome you to the website of the Radiation Oncology section of the New York Roentgen Society. I am very proud to be a part of this society. Our programs provide a platform for education, discussion, and collaboration regarding the practice of radiation oncology. We have an outstanding roster of events, with speakers from both the New York community and premier cancer institutions worldwide addressing topics that range from translational medicine to innovations and controversies in clinical practice. Our activities each year include monthly topic-focused seminars as well as an annual two-day meeting that draws speakers from across the nation. In addition, we are committed to resident education and host and annual comprehensive physics review course each spring for residents in New York-area programs. We hope that you will find our website helpful. Here, you will find access to seminal papers organized by topic, useful educational resources such as contouring atlases, links to important radiation oncology-related websites, and a calendar of events in the New York metropolitan area.
